The 10-Day Challenge Cleansing Program
is an abbreviated version of our more comprehensive 21-Day Internal Cleansing and Detoxification Program. For people who cannot commit to a 21 day program, the 10-Challenge was developed to effectively optimize your nutrition and begin to bring your body back into proper balance.
 
The 10-Day Challenge involves dietary changes over a 10-day period along with taking therapeutic nutrients in the form of powders and liquids to help accelerate the cleansing process. The dietary changes will include adding lots alkaline-rich foods to your diet which include fresh low sugar fruits and vegetables. See a complete list of acid/alkaline foods. Drinking plenty of fresh water, light exercise and proper rest are suggested as well. Finding some downtime in your schedule so you can focus on this cleanse is equally as important during a successful detoxification program.

Step-by-Step What’s Involved

Days 1-10 This is an accelerated cleanse, so we will quickly move into a predominately raw plant-based food (fruits, vegetables, raw nuts, seeds, sprouts and sprouted foods) to decrease the stress from the digestive system and eliminate sugar, vinegars, tobacco, alcohol, and soda for 10-days. A menu, emphasizing alkaline raw foods, shopping guide and recipes are provided. Most often, people will eat raw foods and have a more cooked, vegan meal for dinner.

In addition, we are going to be adding in blended shakes, fresh vegetable juices along with some added nutritional products to aid in the cleansing process. All the recipes on how to prepare these blended foods and juices are provided. Taking food based supplements maximize the effects of the cleanse and are needed to bring the body into balance more quickly. In addition to doing the actual cleanse, our weekly meetings are designed to educate others on the cleansing process as well as help as well as a person create structure and balance in their eating habits once they have completed the program.

What is the Difference between the 10-Day Challenge and the 21-Day Internal Cleansing & Detoxification Program?

The main difference between the two programs is the period of time in which you are cleansing your body. Obviously one is longer than the other. When you decide to do a detoxification program, your body needs some time to recognize what you are doing. Your body needs a minimum of 10 days for it to receive the high-quality nutrients and start to “clean house.” The 10-Day Challenge is a beginning program and for those who are eating a primarily Standard American Diet consisting of packaged foods, meats and dairy and wanting to give cleansing a try in a relatively short period of time. It is also for people who have done a more extensive 21-day program and wish to do a 10-day “tune-up” if you will. If you are able to extend that cleansing process to the 21-day program, you will experience further cleansing benefits with the added time. For the 21-Day program, we will be meeting weekly for 4 weeks instead of 2 weeks with the 10-Day Challenge.

How do I start the 10-Day Challenge?

To get started, contact Janee to make an appointment. We will discuss your reasons for wanting to do a detoxification program and choose either the 10-Day Challenge or a 21-Day Internal Cleansing & Detoxification program depending on your needs. From there, we will schedule times to meet weekly for either 2 or 4 weeks depending on which program you choose. The cost of the programs include all the products you will need to effectively complete the program as well as all your reading & instructional materials.
